Working on my rough draft of project 2 to my final draft has helped me to mature and progress as a writer. With the help of my professor and peers I have been able to learn from my mistakes and grow. First off with my introduction in my rough draft I did not get right to the point and had less explanation than I should. Receiving help on my introduction helped me to realize that I needed to better introduce my sources and introduce what I wanted to truly talk about. One topic I introduced but had no reason to include was mentioning the variety of different colleges under the University of New England. That did not help me further my claim or evidence. Evidence and organization of that evidence was another point that needed some work and, I believe, improved over the essay drafts. In my first draft I mainly summarized and combined my claims and information about them. In my final draft there are more paragraphs that focus individually on the claims and points. This helped readers to better understand each claim further and also helped me to make my paper flow better. I also did have some awkward wording in some cases that may have confused readers but was easily fixed in the final draft.
