This project focuses on the relationship between the University of New England’s liberal arts or arts and sciences system and the applied exercise science major. Along with the University’s system, the ideas of Sanford J. Ungar and Jeffrey Scheuer are compared to the major and analyze if the major fits under their ideas. Ungar focuses on seven misperceptions about the liberal arts. Scheuer focuses on how critical thinking and the liberal arts coincide with each other. The project can explain and connect all of the focus points well. However, there has been much change from the rough draft to final draft, which will be able to show and help others understand my writing process.
