With my critique and work on review I tried to be informative and helpful when providing input. I followed the outline for the requirements of each type of critique, however, I still give critique if necessary. I focus on suggesting to my peers of giving further explanation on quotes or evidence. Providing explanations to evidence, I feel, helps readers to better understand what the author wants to say and better understand the paper as a whole. Many of my comments mention explaining something further. Explanation is one of the biggest factors to help readers understand a piece or work. Over the peer review sessions, my process has not changed much as I believe, and hope, it has been informative and helpful. However, I feel as though I could go deeper into what I am looking for when I say to give more explanation. I could start to guide my peers on what I am looking for because it can be difficult, sometimes, to know what to say or how to explain certain topics. Another aspect I can work on getting better at is saying when my peer does something really well and maybe how they can further it to enhance it. Peer review can be challenging, and one must know how to word and explain to their peers on how to improve their work.
