The meeting with Olivia was very helpful to get a closer look of what needed to be changed. What was worked on was incorporating more explanations of vocabulary and authors. A paragraph was added after the introduction that discusses what “growth mindset” and “fixed mindset” are. This was done to help the reader better understand the topics at hand. Then there was introducing Carol Dweck’s Ted Talk and introducing Lukianoff and Haidt. Again this was done to further give the reader more understanding of where information exactly came from. Another change was finding another quote or rewording the idea of the world having more horrific events from the 90s to 60s. The quote did not exactly fit the theme of the paper or the paragraph. Therefore, the main idea or purpose of using the quote was reworded.
